sneak peek: victorian winter photoshoot

I had an amazing time yesterday with my beautiful group of cousins prancing through the snow. They were wearing Victorian-esque winter costumes, and I had my camera around my neck. Afterwards, we had pizza, movies, and a sleepover. It was amazing! I'm going to post the rest of the photos later, but until then- enjoy these (they're my favourites from the bunch)!

photoshoot spoilers....

I did my 1920's-inspired photoshoot today! I'm going to post the rest most likely tomorrow afternoon but since I'm ridiculously excited about it, I'll give you some spoiler images. This was an insane amount of fun, and I really hope to do another shoot soon! I had great costumes and amazing models and got a lot of help from places like the community theatre and the local library (which is a restored train station from the 1800's). Long live the jazz age!

 

vintage '20s dresses?

Oh, yes. The photoshoot that I'm doing on Monday will be inspired by the 1920's, flappers and everything. The local community theatre has an amazing costume department that I've borrowed from before (and will again!). This time, it's some dresses that are actually from the twenties. They're old donations, so I have to be very careful with them. As well, they're petite, so it was a tad hard to find models that would fit these eighty year old dresses. Not only is the photoshoot going to be amazing, but having a little bit of history hanging in my bedroom is kinda amazing!
