Fairytale pond garden?

One of my favourite things about visiting my grandparents is their pond garden. They've spent at least ten years working on it, maintaining it, and making it look gorgeous. It's almost like stepping into a fairy-tale world, especially in the early spring. I've done my graduation photos there, as has my sister, and it's also been the site of many family photoshoots and some of my own personal photoshoots. There's a lot of memories in this garden, statues for old pets and old easter egg hunts and frog catching. It's one of my all-time favourite places to visit. It's magical. These photos don't really do it justice (this is only the pond area, it's a much bigger property) but sometime this summer I'll go back and document the whole area.

  1. It looks like a gorgeous place and these pictures are fabulous. My dad made a little pond in our garden too, but my mom obviously got rid of (well, pretty much destroyed) it when he left. I miss waking up to the sound of water everyday!

    1. Aw, thank you! I adore it there. Aren't waterfalls amazing? I love sleeping near running water or during rain or something, it's so peaceful and natural! <3 We used to have a pond in our backyard full of goldfish and my sister and I would make boats and have races. Too bad we moved. :(
