my sister is also a timelord...

Halloween is on the way - it's my favourite time of the year! I've been helping my sister with her costume, and it turned out amazing. We had to dye a bow tie red ourselves and thrifted a lot of it, so that was actually a lot of fun. She's the eleventh incarnation of the Doctor, from our favourite show Doctor Who! We're both super happy with how it turned out. I'll hopefully do a post in the next week with my costume, too. What are you being for Halloween?

Doctor Who day!

To celebrate my favourite show coming back for a seventh season, I dressed up to watch the new episode! I didn't have anyone who wanted to dress up with me, but that was alright. I got to drink tea out of my TARDIS mug and fangirl like crazy about the new episode. There's not really much else to say, except that I adored dressing up Doctor Who-like and that the new episode? It was phenomenal.

Awesome internet find of the day:

The best wedding bouquet ever? Probably! This 'floral' arrangement is mad up of a sonic screwdriver - River Song's - and the flowers are made up of a Sherlock Holmes novel. It's gorgeous. Geekery + weddings = my absolute favourite. (link

Doctor Who's Matt Smith to carry the Olympic Torch!

Matt Smith plays the Eleventh incarnation of the Doctor in the BBC television series, Doctor Who and will carry the torch through Cardiff. A lot of fans may be disappointed or angry at this news, saying that David Tennant (Tenth Doctor) should carry the torch, because it fits in with a second season episode of the show.
However, I am simply very happy for the nod-off to Doctor Who and am looking forward to seeing him carry the torch.

Way to go, Matt!

TeeFury is one of my favourite daily sites because even if I don`t always purchase the shirts, I love seeing all the different artist`s work and reading their interviews.
Each day has a new, interesting, well-done tee design available for 24 hours only. Some designs are humourous, quirky, artsy, or a mixture of all three.

Todays`s shirt? A buy, for sure!
