Missing home, rainstorms and turtles.

My Dad drew this and sent it to me and it made me sad. Normally I'm really good with being away from home - in fact, most of the time I love it. It's an adventure, a change of pace. However, I am down to the bone exhausted, like I need to sleep for three days straight.

So, this evening, I am going to relax. My grandmother will take care of the cousins, and I will cuddle down with some tea and this beautiful new book I got and relax. I'll store up energy for tomorrow and the rest of the week! I also just went running in a rainstorm with my sister, what a way to make your day better and wash away a hard time! What do you do when you need to relax/calm down?

  1. Your Dad is pretty much the sweetest! I wish my dad liked me enough to do something like that.

I'm going to be honest... I never relax! I need to so often but never find a way to just empty my head and calm down. I usually have a bath and watch (500) Days of Summer but it doesn't even work anymore. I need to start yoga. :(

    1. Aw, maybe try tea and a good book? I have some reccomendations if you need it! I don't find baths relaxing, but watching a movie is for sure (I especially like Indiana Jones). Does yoga actually work though? I've never been bothered to try xD Going for walks also help to calm me down, and naps, lotsa naps!
